What are DBT skills?
In DBT, we look at the balance between finding peace by accepting a situation and making changes in our lives.
In order to do this, we need to strengthen four different components:

Module 1: Mindfulness & Awareness

Module 2: Distress Tolerance

Module 3: Emotion Regulation & Effectiveness

Module 4: Interpersonal Effectiveness
We don’t look at these four components as encompassing just acceptance or just change, but encompassing both. We do however know that accepting something always comes before it can be changed.
